All of the bases run sailing and Kayaking sessions. Some bases offer ‘dry land’ sessions such as climbing and abseiling (at the Mill). Whitewater rafting is available at Lakeside.

Group Water Activity and Summer School at Hoveringham

A unique facility at Notts County sailing club nr Southwell, Hoveringham water. This must be the best water in the county with excellent facilities. Dinghy sailing and kayaking are the
activities provided with full equipment and Instruction by RYA and BCU instructors. Our instructors are very experienced and mature. They understand the individual needs of your group, and execute both patience and expertise to your students. RYA and BCU certification is available. The provision is licensed by AALA.

You can book a 2hr ‘taster’ session with groups of 8 students to 1 instructor, or a whole week with certification at the end.

An ideal opportunity for summer term outdoor activity, for primary and secondary age groups, youth groups, and young people who require that little extra help in smaller size groups.
